Summary
A Military swagger stick, comprising a varnished length of rattan with a (possibly) tin clasped top, inscribed with a sphinx over a goat flying a flag, with a banner reading “The Queens” flanked by six virtues written in Latin in two ribbons.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
