Summary
A Chinese brass and enamelled box with cylindrical top and foot around a square mid section. The mid section decorated with panels of blue, yellow, green and white enamel mythical insects around Chinese symbols. The lower cylindrical section with applied foliate frieze, with red felt to the base.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
