Summary
A glass inkwell within a gilt plated black leather bound box. Of oval form with gilt tooled writing to the hinged leather bound top; reading “Ink”. The gilt plated box with tooled foliate decoration to the top and centred with a spring loaded circular lid.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Khadambi Asalache upon his death in 2006; acquired fully in November 2010.
