Summary
A gilt and white china pen holder on four claw feet. Frieze painted in colours, in a pseudo-Chinese style, including two scenes of figures fishing, one seated with a net, the other approaching, and the second seated with a rod, a black crab on the end of his line, and another figure clapping in celebration. Top pierced with six holes, two with perforated metal tops, three for pens. Manufactured in Paris.
