Summary

A "Licence to Keep Petroleum Spirit and Petroleum Mixtures" made out to Mr. Rupert D'Oyly Carte of Coleton Fishacre, Kingswear, from 1 October 1940. Petrol was to be kept in a steel underground tank at the garage. A schedule of conditions is on the back. Attached to the licence was a small plain piece of paper with "Note: Petrol Pump installed end of July 1938" written on it. Also written in the top left corner is "Renewal 1940/41"
