Summary
Dressing box - Late Victorian brass bound rectangular coromandel box. Interior edge has engraved brass bell flowers inlaid, also on retail plate; MORTIMER AND HUNT / JEWELLERS TO THE QUEEN / 156 New Bond Street, London. Brass hinge with upper part of lock on lid, lock missing on carcase. Sides have further brass embellishments. Box lined with royal blue velvet. Base of box has a fabric cover, disintegrated.
