Summary
Incomplete letter from Hannah Greg to her son Thomas Tylston Greg at Spark Hill, near Birmingham, writing about the universal taste for morality and indignation felt at the profligacy and vice of the Duke of York's life. She encloses a keepsake which she asks Thomas to get engraved with the initials T.T.G. on one side and for him to choose, in due course, what to put on the other side. A pencil note above the address reads 'Sermon to children'.
