Summary
Twelve tubes of watercolour paint each labelled with own colour for a limited palette of yellows, reds and blues. Each black and white paper labels with a different colour band at the top reads; WINSOR AND NEWTON, / LONDON, ENGLAND. Below this details of each colour is given e.g; PERMANENT./ BLUE PERMANENTE. / AZUL PERMANENTE. Some labels are overstamped in red; SL. Lead tube with screw cap embossed on top of cap; LONDON / W AND N / ENGLAND. Embossed round collar of tube; WINSOR AND NEWTON LTD. Each tube is stamped with a batch number.
