Summary
Grant of arms presented to Robert Hyde Greg, signed on 15th February 1875. The text describes the pedigree of the Greg family, the family coat of arms and motto 'Ein Doe and Spair Not'. Attached to the document with green and silver cord is the office seal contained in a small tin box. The document is held inside a tin canister and scratched on its surface in 'Grant of arms'. The canister is stored in a wooden box with hinged lid. There are two labels attached to the lid. One label is addressed to 'T.T. Greg Esq (Thomas Tylston Greg), Westmill Station, near Buntingford, Hertfordshire'. The small carriage label reads London & North Western Railway, parcel from Handforth'. Written in ink on the lid of the box 'Grant of Arms to Greg 1875 for 1600 [a] 1700'.
