Summary
A plan produced on tracing/draughting paper titled 'Proposed Rope Drive i.e. continuous rope. R Greg & Co', scale 1/2 inch : 1 foot. It shows a series of drawings relating to pulley wheels, pulley ropes, weights and the rotational speeds of the pulley wheels, and the distances of the pulley from the adjacent wall and floors. One of the wheels drawn is labelled as the 'Skew Tension Pulley'. A number of rooms at the Mill are shown including a 'Little Loom Room', a 'Yard' and a 'Passage'. The 'Old Water Wheel House' is shown with a turbine inside. The plan has numerous pencil notes to the sides of the drawings describing features and giving more detailed information, such as the purpose of the pulley weight 'To Balance Tension Pulley and also to keep ropes tight'. The plan is initialled in the bottom left hand corner 'G.E.J, S.R.J' and is also dated 'Feb 18/05'.
