Summary
Blue cloth-bound book entitled 'The Blackmore Country' by F.J. Snell, published by A. and C. Black. The front cover has an applied oval brown and white photo of a portly old gentleman. On the spine is a round white label with the number 673 crossed out and replaced by the number 613 both in pencil. The book is stamped by the Styal Village Club Library on the inside front and first pages. The frontspiece is a b/w photo of 'on the Lyn (?), below Brendon' with a protective leaf. There are 288 pages with 32 b/w photos and index at the end. After the index is a b/w fold-out map of the Blackmore country attached to the page. At the end is a catalogue of Black's publications.
