Summary
Number six of a set of six photographs which are part of a large set of thirty two mounted photographs of aspects of Venice and Florence of which six are numbered with Roman numerals and the rest are with lower case letters. This photograph shows the interior of the Senate Hall in the Doge's Palace, Venice which was used by government bodies to make policies and appoint ambassadors, the central canvas "Paradise" was painted by Tintoretto circa 1580. The text on the photograph reads "Sala del Senato (Trono) Po Salviati Venizia".
