Summary
One of a set of thirty two mounted photographs showing aspects of Venice and Florence, this one shows the Palazzo Wan Axel, a Gothic palace in the Cannaregio district of Venice at an intersection of two canals and belonged to the Soranzo family and later on by a Dutch family the Axel's. It was built between 1473 and 1479. The text on the photograph reads "Po Wan Axel Po Salviati Venezia".
