Summary
One of a set of thirty two mounted photographs showing aspects of Venice and Florence, this one shows the Venetian palazzo called Ca D'Oro (Golden House) and is the most important example of florid Gothic style along the Grand Canal, it was built between 1421 and 1443 on the pre existing site of Ca Zeno. The text reads "Po Ca D'Oro Po Salviati Venezia"
