Summary
A wet and dry bulb hygrometer made by Armstrong of Manchester. Enclosed in a metal frame and printed on metal sheet is the humidity table for the purposes of Regulation 1 of the Factory and Workshops Act 1901 - 1929 and instructions for the maintenance of the hygrometer which was used to monitor relative humidity, crucial in the spinning/weaving industry.
