Summary
A short sword with a steel blade and a carved handle of ivory or bone on one side and horn on the other, held together by two silver studs. The blade is grooved on both sides, running almost its entire length. The wooden sheath is covered with blue velvet which is cross stitched together on the back. At both ends of the sheath is a covering of very finely beaten silver with a pattern embossed into it which is soldered at the back. At the hilt end is an iron band, with a silver covering, which forms a loop for a belt attachment.
