Summary
One brown card-box with metal corners containing three billiard balls. The box appears to be original. The top of the box has a raised decoration and writing telling of the contents. Over this description a label has been attached reading 'Orme and Sons Ltd. Billiard table builders to H.M. the King, Manchester, London, Glasgow and Belfast'. The label is in red black and yellow. Inside are three balls in individual compartments, two yellow and one red, lying in cotton wool packing. Inside the lid is a label stating 'Crystalite Balls and instructions for keeping them in good condition'. This is written in black. On the outside in raised letters 'The Crystalite Billiard Ball Trade Mark. E.M. Co. Ltd. The only composite billiard ball made in England. Quality guaranteed. These goods have all the merits of ivory without any of the drawbacks'.
