Summary
Revolving bookcase mounted on a central iron spindle standing on a four foot 'cross' base, with castors. The wooden revolving section has two principal bookshelf sections, and a third shelf just below the top boards, which acts as a top mounting for the central spindle. This upper shelf is a recently added piece of wood replacing an earlier piece. The shelves have wooden slats on two sides and a vertical wooden bar on a third side. The central shelf has a pen tray along the side with the vertical bar. One of the side slats also has two iron mountings screwed onto it. The whole bookshelf (except the top shelf) is varnished.
