Summary
A framed photograph of Edward Hyde Greg (1827 - 1910) taken by his son Robert Alexander Greg. Edward's signature is printed below the photograph. He is wearing a dark overcoat with cape, a shirt with striped cuffs and white collar, dark tie with cameo pin and light buttoned waist coat with watch chain attached. He has dark trousers and dark jacket which has a handkerchief and glasses in the pocket. In one hand he is holding a grey bowler hat and in the other a cane. The photograph is in a wooden frame painted black with inner gold frame. On the reverse is a paper label printed with the details of the framers 'A. G. Hall, The Vandyck Studio, Alderley Edge, Cheshire'.
