Summary
Part of a dinner service from Norcliffe Hall consisting of two plates, a cup and saucer, all with a thin gold border and decorated with the Greg family's arm and crest. Written on the reverse is "Boyer St de Feuillet"
Provenance
Part of a group of objects associated with Samuel Greg, who built Quarry Bank in 1784. Passed by descent through the family, and on loan to the National Trust from the 1980s. Left in the will of Mrs K Gore to her children N Gore and D Timms as per letter signed by both parties dated October 2021. Purchased by D Timms and gifted to the National Trust, Quarry Bank by her in September 2023.
