Summary
A walnut chest-on-stand, English, early 18th century, the upper section with moulded cornice above three short and three long graduated drawers, the drawers fronts with inlaid bands, cockbeading and brass swan-neck handles (replaced) and lock-plates, on a moulded projecting base. The lower section with three drawers with herring-bone borders and brass swan-neck handles (replaced), above an arched, shaped apron, on four cabriole legs terminating in club feet.
