Summary
Print, engraving, Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822) (after Antoine Philippe d'Orléans, duc de Montpensier) by George J. Stodart (fl.1884-1892). from an oil painting by W.E. West. Head and shoulders, facing to his left, with long hair and ruffled collar. Inscription on the back reads; "This picture is from a miniature painted by the Duke of Monpenseur (brother of Louis Philippe). It afterwards passed into the hands of Lady Shelley and was engraved at her expense. A copy of the miniature is in the Bodleian Library, Oxford." Signed H. Pollard.
