Summary
An Italian 19th century mosaic table top of octagonal form by C Ciuli, the circular central panel filled with a mask of Bacchus within a key fret frame, the wide border designed as acorns and oak leaves, the outer border with stiff leaves the angles with ribboned thyrsi, signed "C Ciuli, F.A. 1825". Raised on a contemporary pine stand of cruciform design, the four supports applied with satyr masks.
