Summary
Second world war diary by Dorothy Johnston at Hallhouse Farm, Appledore, Kent. Handwritted in pen in a lined notebook with a red cover. From 23 September 1938 to 15 September 1940. Dorothy Johnston (1880-1962) donated a stretch of the Royal Military Canal by Appledore to the National Trust, as well as her home Hallhouse and a local history collection (social history, archival, and a reference library).
