[Saved] The Queen's notes. Purse containing notes sent to Charlotte, second wife of Thomas, 2nd Earl of Onslow, by Queen Charlotte. Green leather with silver clasp and pencil.

Provenance

Belonged to Charlotte Duncombe, wife of Thomas, 2nd Earl of Onslow Marked in Lady Iveagh’s 1966 Inventory, p 15. Purchased in 1986 with the aid of a grant from the V&A Museum Purchase Grant Fund and the Monument Trust
