Summary
A 1:10 scale model of the Sutton Hoo ship. Made of seasoned oak finished with raw linseed oil and natural beeswax, with rivets and rove plates of brass treated chemically to blacken. Supported on brass rods fixed to steel and plywood plinth.

Commissioned for the opening of the Exhibition Centre in 2002.
