Summary
COMB MORION; It has a deep roped comb, and a narrow brim dipping down deeply at either side, and forming a point at the front and rear. The main edge has a fine, file-roped inward turn accompainied by a sunken border. At the base of the skull is a row of eight round-headed lining rivets at either side, and two at the rear for the missing plume holder.
Marks and inscriptions
Stamped in the recessed border at the front is the mark of the Armourers Guild of Nuremberg.
