Summary
Plasterwork ceiling of the gallery, subdivided into bays, five along the north side and four along the east side with a light well at the corner where the two sides meet. Each bay is formed of a quadripartite rib vault with bosses at the rib intersection and with the springing points of the ribs supported by clustered shafts with loosely Romanesque style capitals. Both the diagonal vault and transverse arches between and to either side of the bays support characteristic chevron type ornament. Lime plaster with enrichments in gypsum plaster.
