Summary

A historic heating system comprising of a Fletcher Russell and Co. Ltd. Warrington Manchester and London India 12 reg no. 38 ornate cast iron gas fire with asbestos heating elements missing. There were three heating systems at the Castle, a ducted hot air system for the front of the property, radiators elsewhere and the servants quarters had an independent system. There are two boiler rooms in the basement, which originally burnt wood and coal.
