Summary
Hatbox. A tinplate, grained hatbox, with a lid hinged to the base. There is a handle on the lid, and a brass lock is fitted to box and lid. The inside is painted dark blue and the bottom black. 4/3 is painted on the outside of the lid, and there is some illegible impressed writing on the lock.
