Summary
Spring balance. A spring balance with a brass face, iron hook fixtures at the top and bottom, and a steel pointer with brass fitting. The face is imprinted 'No 20T SALTER'S TRADE SPRING BALANC SILVESTERS PATENT, MADE IN ENGLAND, TO WEIGH 200lb BY 1lb', and features Salter's trade mark and four brass screws on the front. All the iron and the steel pointer is rusting, and the copper face is slightly marked, tarnished and dented.
