Summary
Oil lamp burner. The burner and wick holder for a table oil lamp. The top is circular to support a glass shade and to contain the wick at the centre. The wick is a flat cloth carried between concentric rings and can be adjusted up and down by a rack and pinion mechanism attached to a collar through which the wick passes in the reservoir below. The mechanism is operated by a knurled disc with a decorative design on the outer side. The burner is screwed into the reservoir.
