Kneehole desk. An oak, double-sided, kneehole, neo-Norman pedestal desk, designed by Thomas Hopper. There are 6 drawers and 2 cupboards, with ebony knobs to the drawers and oak knobs to the cupboards. The arched kneehole is decorated with 'fishscale' spandrels, and the desk has a plain frieze with a polished black slate top.
