Summary
Fourposter bed. A late 19th century brass fourposter bed with domed tester and elaborate openwork head and footboards. The hangings are of 'Cross Twigs' woven linen and silk fabric in blue, yellow and apricot, designed by J H Dearle, 1894, for Morris & Co.

Made for the visit of Edward, Prince of Wales, 1894, at a cost of £600.
