Summary
Cup and cover. A George IV silver gilt vase-shaped cup and cover made by Emes and Barnard of London in 1825, ribbed and chased at the shoulders with flowers and blooms and applied below an everted stiff leafage border with trailing vines terminating in short handles, the cover with leafy finials, on an ebonised plinth with a plaque engraved, 'GOODWOOD/-1898-'.
Provenance
Acquired by the National Trust in 2002/2003 as part of the Acceptance in Lieu scheme.
