Watercolour on paper, Isle of Capri by Italian (Neapolitan) School, circa 1898/99. With three figures on left hand side of a tall tree and two houses in centre with a cliff face on right - all in foreground. Snowy mount in centre distance. Three labels on the back. First handwritten label reads, Isle of Capri / in the Bay of Naples / from the Mainland / Bought in Naples April / 1898. Printed second label reads, Bought by A.A.G. in Naples / in 1899. Printed third label with brown border reads, From / A. Baird-Carter, / Printseller, / DEALER IN WORKS OF ART. / 61, Jermyn Street / (4 Doors from St. James's St), / LONDON, S.W. One of a group of three with NT14159 and NT16428.
