Summary
An oak dressing table, part of a four-part bedroom suite, (NT14136 - Dressing Table, NT14139 - Bedside Cabinet, NT14147 - Washstand, and NT14156 - Wardrobe), attributed to Collier & Plucknett, circa 1880. The rectangular moulded top with a rectangular mirror in a chamfered and reeded frame between chamfered uprights with two shelves and a drawer below, the uprights with two shelves and a drawer below, the uprights mounted with brass candle stands, above a shaped arched kneehole flanked by four graduated drawers to each side, between chamfered uprights, on square feet with shaped brackets, with ceramic castors, the locks stamped; 2. LEVER H. The upper drawers stamped; HOBBS / LONDON / MACHINE / MADE / LEVER.
