Summary
A herm of the young Dionysus made of composite stone with long hair falling around his shoulders. The herm is draped in a cloth, at his left side a staff with a pine cone finial, an attribute of Dionysus, protrudes above the cloth. A branch of flowers with leaves, possibly roses, in high relief on the square pillar below. The pillar tapers towards a base, also of stone. There is a companion herm of a Pan (NT 1412605).

Bequeathed to the National Trust in 1927.
