Summary
A mahogany Sutherland table, English, circa 1850. The rectangular twin-flap top above plain frieze rails and raised on twin ring-turned end column supports with arched feet and brass castors, joined by a turned cross-stretcher. The Sutherland table is reputedly named after Harriet, Duchess of Sutherland (1806-68), the first to commission such a table.
