Summary
A reverse glass painting. 18th Century. Scene with figure in military garb on white horseback carrying a long curved sword. 5 figures in the background clothed in blue with hats. Some on horseback. Broken into 49 pieces of various sizes but is mostly complete when reassembled. Stored in Ex-Trust Harrods box.
Provenance
Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)
