Summary
Box 121 and Box 140. FEL64C. Ball gown. Two-piece cream slipper satin bodice and skirt. Trimmed with deep Honiton lace flounces and net sewn with silver spangles. Bodice - pleated cross-over front, filled in with spangled lace and net swags. Much alteration and therefore difficult to tell the original design. Skirt has long train. Deep honiton flounce on hem with swag of spangled net holding it in place. Waistband - Jane Worth, Grosvenor Street. ?originally a wedding dress. c.1903-4. Skirt in Box 121. Bodice in Box 140.
