Bronzed plaster, Antinous (d.122 AD) by John Cheere (1709 – London 1787), c. 1752, after the antique. Bust of the head of a youth, after the 'Capitoline Antinous'. One of a suite of seven busts after the antique supplied by John Cheere c. 1752 (NT 1401975 - NT 1401981).
Provenance
Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)
