Summary
A picture in sepia wash of Felbrigg Cottage (formerly Parsonage). It is English, early C19. In middle distance is a house with a trellis-work veranda surrounded by trees. A larger tree with a seat below and two cannon are in the foreground. It has a lack and gilt frame and is mounted and glazed. A handwritten note by RWKC on the reverse says it was given to RWKC in 1943. The two cannon on the lawn indicate that this was probably executed when Admiral Lukin lived at the Parsonage between 1812-1824. It ceased to be the Parsonage when the livings of Felbrigg and Metton were combined in 1812, and has since been demolished.
