Summary
Five phonograph records in cardboard cylindrical boxes. Marked 'Edison Standard Record. National Phonograph Company, Orange NJ, USA. No faster that 160 rpm'. a - 13262 'I Can't Keep from Laughing', by Hampton, and the 'Laughing Song' by Pete Hampton. The inner cannister is broken with fragments in the bottom of the cylindrical box. b - 13602 'Selection from HMS Pinafore', by Sullivan. c - 13999 'Shadowland', by Noel Johnson. d - 14029 'I've Got Rings On My Fingers', by Scott. e - 19176 'We Parted on the Shore', 'Scotch Song', by Harry Lauder, but contains the record 'Is Everybody Happy Here?'.
Provenance
Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969).
