Summary
Hand screen. Hand-held fire-screen. One of a pair. Kidney-shaped Black lacquered papier-mache screen decorated with gilt and mother-of-pearl flowers, urn and garlands, scalloped edge. Turned ebonised and gilt handle, broken in 2 pieces.

Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)
