Summary
A mahogany tester bed, English, circa 1840 The canopy with an arched molded and beaded cornice held by twist turned baluster front posts. The lower square section part of the post with carved flower head rosettes and with reeding below. With a paneled foot board and raised on turned bun feet and castors.
Provenance
Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969).
