Summary
A gilt beech upholstered armchair. Supplied by and probably made by William Freeman, Norwich, circa 1830 With an upholstered back and arms. The arms faced with scroll and leaf carved and gesso decoration. The padded seat with moulded frame on lappet carved front legs and out swept scrolled rear legs on brass cap castors
Provenance
Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)
