Summary

Print, The Annunciation, after Robert Campin (c.1375/79 – Tournai 1444). Stuck on board and previously framed. This is the central panel of The Mérode Altarpiece a triptych by the Early Netherlandish painter Robert Campin. The original is in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. New York

Provenance

Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)
