Summary
Print, coloured, A Shooting Party at Felbrigg Parsonage after William Redmore Bigg, RA (Felsted 1755 – London 1828). 1803. Vice Admiral William Lukin (Windham) and his three brothers with gamekeeper, Cawston, setting out with dogs from Felbrigg Parsonage, the tower of Felbrigg Church to left. Inscribed on back as painted by Bigg in 1803. Captain (later Vice-Admiral) Lukin stands in the centre, flanked by his brothers Robert and George. John astride a horse, was later to marry John Sell Cotman and Ann Miles in Felbrigg Church.
Provenance
Part of the Windham Collection. The hall and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1969 by Robert Wyndham Ketton-Cremer (1906-1969)
