Thomas Slingsby Duncombe MP (1796-1861) and Sir Robert Harry Inglis, 2nd Bt. FRS, MP (1786-1855). Two men walking together arm in arm towards front, both holding top hats in their right hands; the one to left with his head turned in profile to right (Thomas Slingsby Duncombe), the one to right looking to front, holding a scroll lettered 'Oxford University' in his left hand (Robert Harry Inglis).
